Sacred Musings for the Soulful Journey

Gentle astrology, sacred self-care, soulful reflections,
and moon-guided wisdom to nourish your spirit.

Welcome to my Sacred Writings

There is a special kind of magic in putting pen to paper,
or fingertips to keyboard, and letting the soul flow free. Writing has always been my sanctuary, my safe space, and my joy.

If I am honest, I would much rather be curled up with my laptop, weaving words, than speaking live on Facebook or recording videos. Writing feels like coming home.

With Mercuria in Leo sitting brightly in my first house,
expressing myself through the written word feels as natural and effortless as breathing. It is a blessing I cherish deeply, and it made creating this blog feel like the most natural next step on my journey.

At first, I imagined this space would focus purely on astrology and the lunar rhythms I hold so close to my heart. But as I have grown, so too has the work I offer to the world. I have become not only a Star Priestess Astrologer but also a Sacred Self-Care Warrioress, and I am of course an Award-winning Spiritual Life Purpose Coach.

And so, this blog has become a rich, sacred tapestry, a blend of astrology, lunar wisdom, sacred self-care, soulful Coaching, musings, and gentle guidance for your own journey home to yourself.

It will be eclectic, heartfelt, and hopefully helpful, a living, breathing extension of the path I walk and the light I am honoured to share.

I hope you will come along for the ride and find something here that nourishes your spirit, inspires your growth, and reminds you of the deep sacredness that already lives within you.

With love and blessings,

Beth

It is Time to Release: A Full Moon Ritual for Burned-Out Souls

May 05, 20255 min read

In the process of letting go you will loose many things from the past, but you will find yourself" – Deepak Chopra

Introduction: Have you ever felt like you are holding everything together by a single thread?

You wake up tired. Go to bed tired. You smile through the meetings, tick off the to-do lists, and keep showing up because that is what you have always done. But somewhere inside, there is a quiet ache, a longing for rest, for release, for something more.

If that sounds like you, this is your reminder: you do not have to carry it all.

1. The Full Moon in Scorpio

On Monday 12 May 2025, we welcome and honour the Full Moon in Scorpio.  This is one of my favourite Full Moons to work with.  It can be a powerful time to lay your emotional burdens down and remember who you truly are beneath the noise.

In this blog, I am not going to go into the astrological specifics of this Full Moon. I reserve those sacred insights for the women who gather with me in our Full Moon and New Moon Sister Circles.

If you would like to understand what is happening astrologically with this lunation, you are warmly invited to join us there.  You can find out all the information including how to book your space here.  Investment is just £10 for up to 90 minutes of sacred self-care.

Instead, I would like to share with you the essence of this moment. Because you do not need a detailed star chart to know when your soul is asking for release.

Scorpio, the energy of this Full Moon, invites you into the depth.  She does not live on the surface. She swims in the undercurrents, those hidden places where your emotions, stories, and wounds have been quietly tucked away. She asks you to be honest. To feel what you would rather ignore. To honour the wisdom in your weariness.

And then?

She helps you let go.

To let go of the roles you have outgrown.

To let go of the guilt that whispers you are never doing enough.

To let go of the emotional weight that was never yours to carry in the first place.

Letting go is not weakness.

It is wisdom.

It is sacred self-care.

2. A Simple Full Moon Ritual for Release

This is a gentle ritual you can do on the night of the Full Moon (or whenever you feel the call). You do not need anything fancy. Just presence, intention, and a willingness to meet yourself where you are.

You will need:

✨A quiet space where you will not be disturbed

✨A candle (white, black, or whatever feels right to you) and something to light it with

✨A pen or pencil and piece of paper.

✨Step 1: Light Your Candle

Take a few deep healing breaths to centre yourself.  As you do so, visualise the flame representing your inner light, the part of you that still burns, even when you are weary.

✨Step 2: Reflect and Write

On your piece of paper, write down everything you are ready to release. Thoughts, emotions, patterns, expectations. Let it all pour out.

✨Step 3: Read Aloud

If it feels safe, read your list out loud. Let yourself hear the truth of what you have been carrying.

✨Step 4: Let It Go

Full Moon Ritual: Releasing with Intention

When you feel ready, fold your paper as many times as feels right and then place it under a stone, shell, or crystal overnight on your altar or windowsill. As you do, offer a simple blessing:

“I release this with love, and I welcome peace in its place.”

Go and wash your hands under warm running water, to release the energy that you have been holding on to.

 ✨Step 5: Breathe and Close

Sit quietly. Place your hands over your heart. Whisper a simple affirmation: "I am allowed to release. I am safe to begin again."

In the morning, either burn the paper in a fire-safe bowl (if safe and suitable for your space), or simply bury it in the earth, returning your intention to nature with gratitude.

This ritual may be simple, but its power lies in your presence.

3. Journaling Prompts for Emotional Release

If you are not quite sure where to begin, here are some gentle prompts to guide your reflection:

✨What am I holding onto that no longer supports who I'm becoming?

✨Where in my life do I feel most emotionally drained?

✨What do I need to forgive myself for?

✨What would it feel like to let go of the need to be everything to everyone?

✨What am I finally ready to release?

Write freely. There is no right or wrong. Just your truth, meeting the page.

4. Affirmations for Letting Go

Repeat these aloud or write them in your journal:

“I release what no longer belongs to me.”

“I honour my needs and trust the wisdom of my body.”

“I am not broken; I am becoming.”

“I give myself permission to rest, to feel, and to heal.”

“I am worthy of peace, softness, and soul-deep joy.”

5. A Gentle Invitation

If this blog has stirred something in you, a desire to explore this path more deeply, to no longer walk it alone, you are so warmly invited to join me in The Soulful Sanctuary. We begin again under the Gemini Super New Moon on Tuesday 27 May.  I currently have just 3 places left.

6. Sacred Pause: A Soulful Self-Care Circle

Join me for a free, nurturing online gathering to rest, reconnect, and return to yourself under the waning Aquarius moon. We will begin with a gentle grounding, reflect together through soulful journaling prompts, and share a heart-centred practice to support your sacred self-care.

✨Monday 19 May

✨7.30pm UK time

Click here to sign up, all women are welcome.

And know this:

You are not too late.

You are not too much.

You are right on time.

With love and blessings
