Sacred Musings for the Soulful Journey

Gentle astrology, sacred self-care, soulful reflections,
and moon-guided wisdom to nourish your spirit.

Welcome to my Sacred Writings

There is a special kind of magic in putting pen to paper,
or fingertips to keyboard, and letting the soul flow free. Writing has always been my sanctuary, my safe space, and my joy.

If I am honest, I would much rather be curled up with my laptop, weaving words, than speaking live on Facebook or recording videos. Writing feels like coming home.

With Mercuria in Leo sitting brightly in my first house,
expressing myself through the written word feels as natural and effortless as breathing. It is a blessing I cherish deeply, and it made creating this blog feel like the most natural next step on my journey.

At first, I imagined this space would focus purely on astrology and the lunar rhythms I hold so close to my heart. But as I have grown, so too has the work I offer to the world. I have become not only a Star Priestess Astrologer but also a Sacred Self-Care Warrioress, and I am of course an Award-winning Spiritual Life Purpose Coach.

And so, this blog has become a rich, sacred tapestry, a blend of astrology, lunar wisdom, sacred self-care, soulful Coaching, musings, and gentle guidance for your own journey home to yourself.

It will be eclectic, heartfelt, and hopefully helpful, a living, breathing extension of the path I walk and the light I am honoured to share.

I hope you will come along for the ride and find something here that nourishes your spirit, inspires your growth, and reminds you of the deep sacredness that already lives within you.

With love and blessings,

Beth

One of the BIGGEST roadblocks in 90% of people’s spiritual growth journeys (and what to do about it)

The only impossible journey is the one you never begin" – Tony Robbins

Introduction: The Illusion of the “Perfect” time

Spiritual growth is a journey of deep transformation, a path that calls you to step into your fullest, most authentic self. Yet, despite the longing for expansion, many women find themselves feeling stuck, like they are standing at the threshold of something greater but unable to move forward. If you have ever felt this way, you are not alone.

Over the years, I have worked with many women on their spiritual paths, and I have seen the same patterns emerge time and time again. The truth is, the biggest roadblocks to spiritual growth are not external, they are the inner fears, doubts, and beliefs that keep you playing small. But once you recognise them, you hold the power to move past them.

In this blog, we will explore one of the biggest roadblocks holding most people back from true spiritual growth, along with several other common obstacles. I will also offer journaling prompts and affirmations to help you navigate through these blocks, so you can step into your power with confidence, trust, and grace.

Are you ready to uncover what is truly holding you back and take the next step on your journey?

1. The Illusion of the “Perfect” time

One of the most common things I see in women seeking spiritual growth is the feeling of being stuck, longing for transformation but unsure why they are not moving forward.

They have the desire. They have the tools. And yet, something is holding them back.

What is the biggest roadblock I see time and time again? Waiting for the “right” moment.

The Illusion of the “Perfect” time.

So many women put off their spiritual growth because they believe they need to wait for the ideal conditions. They tell themselves:

“I will start meditating when life slows down.”

“I will commit to my spiritual path once I feel more confident.”

“I need to be more healed before I can step into my power.”

But the truth is, there is no such thing as a perfect moment.  It will never come. Life will always be busy. Something will always get in the way. Confidence comes through action, not before it. Healing is an ongoing journey, not a prerequisite for beginning.

The Breakthrough:

Your spiritual journey starts the moment you decide to show up for yourself, exactly as you are. The path does not reveal itself in full before you walk it, it unfolds step by step as you begin to move forward.

Journaling Prompts:

  • What spiritual practices am I putting off? Why?

  • How would my life change if I stopped waiting and started now?

  • What small step can I take today to align with my spiritual growth?

Affirmation:

I trust that my journey is unfolding perfectly in this moment. I take aligned action with confidence and ease.

Other common roadblocks to spiritual growth

While waiting for the “right” time is one of the biggest block I see, there are several other obstacles that can keep you from stepping into your full spiritual potential. Let’s explore them and how to move past them.

2. Fear of change

Growth requires transformation, but change, even when positive, can feel unsettling. Many women unconsciously resist it because it threatens their comfort zone.

The Breakthrough

Recognise that discomfort is a sign of expansion, not danger. Lean into the unknown with trust, knowing that your soul is guiding you toward something greater.

Journaling Prompts:

  • What fears come up when I think about change?

  • How can I shift my mindset to embrace transformation?

  • What evidence do I have that I am capable of growth?

Affirmation:

I welcome change as a natural part of my evolution. I trust in my ability to navigate new beginnings.

3. Self-doubt and imposter syndrome

Many women wonder if they are “doing it right” or if they are “spiritual enough.” They compare their journey to others and feel like they do not measure up.

The Breakthrough

There is no single way to be spiritual. Your unique journey is valid and sacred. Trust your inner knowing rather than seeking external validation.  Be honest and authentic to you.  It does not matter what anyone else is doing, only what feels right for you.

Journaling Prompts:

  • Where in my life do I feel “not enough”?

  • How can I validate my own spiritual experiences?

  • What strengths and gifts do I already have?

Affirmation:

I am enough exactly as I am. My spiritual journey is my own, and I honour its uniqueness.

4. Lack of Consistency

Growth is not about one-time breakthroughs, it is about small, daily, intentional actions. Many people however, only engage with their spiritual path when life feels hard, rather than making it a part of their everyday life.

The Breakthrough

Build small, consistent rituals, whether it is tracking Lunar on a daily basis through each of the signs of the zodiac, daily journaling, practising gratitude, daily oracle card reading, sacred breathwork or regular meditation.  Whatever feels right for you, the point is to create a consistent daily practice to keep you connected, even on the quiet days. Spirituality is not just for when you are feeling in crisis, it is meant to support you in all your seasons.

Journaling Prompts:

  • What small spiritual practices bring me joy?

  • How can I integrate spirituality into my daily routine?

  • What is one thing I can commit to doing consistently?

Affirmation:

I am devoted to my spiritual path. I nourish my soul with small, sacred actions every day

5. Fear of being seen

Many women fear stepping into their power because it might change relationships, challenge old identities, or invite judgment.

The Breakthrough

Your light is not too much. You are here to shine, not hide. The right people will be drawn to your authenticity, and those who fall away were never meant to walk your path with you.

Journaling Prompts:

  • In what ways have I been hiding my true self?

  • What parts of me am I afraid to share with the world?

  • How can I step into my power with confidence?

Affirmation:

I allow myself to be seen in my full radiance. My light is a gift to the world

6. Overconsumption without integration

Some people get stuck in the cycle of learning, reading books, taking courses, listening to podcasts, but never applying what they have learned.  They fear that they will never know enough and so end up being the perpetual student, continually learning and reading in the belief that ‘just one more course’ and then they will be ready.  Unfortunately, ‘just one more’ never ends, it keeps going, like being stuck on a hamster wheel, going round and round and round.

The breakthrough

Knowledge is powerful, but wisdom comes from experience. Take action on what resonates, live your spirituality, don’t just study it. Choose one practice today and fully embody it.

Journaling Prompts:

  • What spiritual knowledge have I gathered but not yet applied?

  • How can I take action on something I’ve learned recently?

  • What does “living my spirituality” look like to me?

Affirmation:

I integrate my spiritual wisdom into daily life. I embody my knowledge with grace and ease.

7. Final Thoughts: The key to breaking through

Your spiritual growth is not waiting for the stars to align, it is waiting for you to take the next step, no matter how small. Trust that the Universe meets you the moment you decide to move forward. Make your practice a daily ritual, sacred and devotional.  Carve time out and see it not just as part of your connection to something bigger but also as part of your sacred self-care practice.

So, no more hesitation or procrastination.

Start before you feel ready.

Take one small action today.

Trust that the path reveals itself as you walk it.
